How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 1, blinking Corsair Captain.
2. When Corsair Captain enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
3. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This brilliant loop centers on Emiel the Blessed, whose exile-and-return ability lets us continuously reset our creatures. Ordinarily, blinking Emiel's targets would require a heavy mana investment, but Zirda, the Dawnwaker steps in to slash those activation costs down to just a single mana. With the cost reduced, Corsair Captain becomes the perfect engine piece: every time it flickers back to the battlefield, its entry ability spawns a Treasure token. By sacrificing that very same Treasure for the mana needed to fund the next activation, the loop sustains itself indefinitely, generating infinite entry and leave-the-battlefield triggers while Corsair Captain passively pumps your board along the way.
