How it works

1. Activate Jeweled Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it, adding three mana of any color that can only be spent to cast your commander.
2. Activate Tameshi by paying and returning any Plains that enters the battlefield untapped to your hand from the battlefield, returning Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Jeweled Lotus enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers, putting a Plains from your hand onto the battlefield.
4. Activate the Plains by tapping it, adding .
5. Repeat.

This clever loop harnesses the recursive power of Tameshi, Reality Architect to repeatedly resurrect Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard, funding its activation cost while simultaneously bouncing and replaying lands. Every time Jeweled Lotus hits the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers its triggered ability, seamlessly pulling a Plains from your hand straight into play to keep the loop going. Tameshi, Reality Architect also conveniently draws you a card the first time a noncreature permanent is returned to hand each turn, while Jeweled Lotus feeds your commander tax with endless colored mana.
