How it works

1. Activate Anti-Venom using Deathbringer Thoctar's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, targeting itself and putting two +1/+1 counters on it due to its replacement effect and Conclave Mentor.
2. Activate Anti-Venom using Deathbringer Thoctar's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Agatha's Soul Cauldron into a terrible engine by having it exile Deathbringer Thoctar, granting its lethal activated abilities to your other creatures with +1/+1 counters. Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer happily takes on those activated abilities while its own damage-prevention static ability converts any self-inflicted damage into fresh +1/+1 counters. With Conclave Mentor amplifying every counter gained, the loop easily outpaces its own costs to manufacture limitless damage and infinitely large creatures.
