How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious lock relies on playing Glacial Chasm repeatedly from your graveyard, a feat enabled by Mole Man, Moloid Master's ability to let you play lands from your graveyard. Each time Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, you sacrifice your newly played land to satisfy its entrance trigger, and Mole Man, Moloid Master's landfall ability even rewards you by creating a 1/1 green Minion creature token named Moloid. When the cumulative upkeep rolls around, you simply choose to let Glacial Chasm sacrifice itself rather than paying its life cost, leaving you completely immune to damage while safely recurring the land on your next turn. Meanwhile, Thalia and The Gitrog Monster aids the engine by granting you an extra land drop each turn and offering a way to sacrifice lands for cards when attacking, while its passive ability slows down opponents by making their creatures and nonbasic lands enter tapped.
