How it works

  1. Cast Twinflame by paying 3R manaR mana, targeting any two creatures.
  2. Holding priority, cast Increasing Vengeance by paying its mana cost, copying Twinflame, with the copy targeting Priest of Urabrask and Scrivener.
  3. Resolve the copy of Twinflame, creating a token copy of Priest of Urabrask and Scrivener with haste.
  4. When the Priest of Urabrask and Scrivener tokens enter, they trigger.
  5. Resolve the Priest of Urabrask trigger, adding R manaR manaR mana.
  6. Resolve the Scrivener trigger, returning Increasing Vengeance from your graveyard to your hand.
  7. Repeat from step 2.

This loop hinges on a clever recursive engine fueled by Twinflame's ability to duplicate utility creatures on the battlefield. By using Increasing Vengeance to copy that initial spell—and eventually leveraging its flashback capability—you can continuously bring back Priest of Urabrask to fund your mana pool with red mana while Scrivener constantly digs Increasing Vengeance right back out of your graveyard. Every iteration pumps out another wave of hasty tokens alongside an endless supply of enter-the-battlefield and leave-the-battlefield triggers, letting you overwhelm the board entirely.
