How it works

  1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Karmic Guide.
  2. When Karmic Guide dies, Proper Burial triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to gain life.
  3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
  4. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Junji.
  5. When Junji dies, it and Proper Burial trigger.
  6. Resolve the Proper Burial trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to gain life.
  7. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
  8. When Karmic Guide enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  9. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
  10. Repeat.
