How it works

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Junji, adding one mana of any color.
  2. Junji dies, triggering itself and Proper Burial.
  3. Resolve the Proper Burial trigger, causing you to gain life equal to Junji's toughness.
  4. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
  5. Repeat.
