How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing another nontoken creature you control, adding CC.
2. When the creature dies, Yedora triggers, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a Forest land and as a 1/1 Swamp creature due to Kormus Bell and Urborg.
3. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns your own lands into a self-sustaining engine, fueled by Ashnod's Altar to generate infinite colorless mana and an endless stream of death, entry, and sacrifice triggers. The magic begins with Kormus Bell and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth working in tandem to transform every land on the battlefield into a 1/1 Swamp creature that is still a land. When you sacrifice one of these animated lands to Ashnod's Altar, Yedora, Grave Gardener swoops in with its static replacement effect, bringing the fallen creature right back to the battlefield face down as a fresh Forest land—which immediately becomes a 1/1 Swamp creature all over again, ready to be sacrificed right back to the Altar.
