How it works

1. Activate Sakashima of a Thousand Faces using Avatar Kuruk's ability by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. At the beginning of your end step, Soulherder triggers, blinking Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Avatar Kuruk.
3. Repeat each turn.

By leveraging Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to copy Avatar Kuruk, you gain access to the formidable Waterbend exhaust ability while entirely bypassing the legend rule thanks to Sakashima's passive text. Soulherder provides the crucial loop by blinking your copied Kuruk at the start of every end step, resetting its transformed state back to The Legend of Kuruk so you can seamlessly replay the saga's chapters and repeatedly trigger the extra-turn engine.
