How it works

1. Nature's Revolt turns all lands into creatures.

This devastating lock utilizes the static anthem effect of Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to completely devastate your opponents' mana base. By casting Nature's Revolt, every single land on the battlefield is simultaneously turned into a 2/2 creature while retaining its land type. Because Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite applies a global -2/-2 penalty to all creatures your opponents control, their newly minted 2/2 land-creatures immediately perish upon entering the battlefield or state-based checks, leaving them utterly unable to play or keep lands in play.
