How it works

1. Cast Shivan Meteor by paying 3, dealing 13 damage to any creature.
2. Imodane triggers, giving each opponent thirteen poison counters.

This lethal combination transforms massive burn into a game-ending strike by exploiting how damage dealt by infect sources interacts with Imodane, the Pyrohammer. By enchanting your target creature with Glistening Oil, you grant it infect so that any damage it deals—or has dealt to it by a single-target spell—translates directly into poison counters instead of standard life loss. When you then point Shivan Meteor at that creature, the massive 13 damage is funneled through Imodane's triggered ability to each opponent, instantly overwhelming them with ten or more poison counters and winning the game.
