How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
3. When Sensei's Divining Top enters, Donatello triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Donatello.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the classic Top-spinning trick into an engine by letting you cast your artifacts for free and immediately grow your board. With Stone Calendar providing a crucial cost reduction, Sensei's Divining Top costs nothing to recast when played off the top of your library. Falco Spara, Pactweaver enables this top-deck casting by letting you remove a counter from a creature instead of paying mana, neatly feeding on the growth provided by Donatello, Way with Machines, who adds a +1/+1 counter every time Sensei's Divining Top enters the battlefield. By continuously drawing the Top, casting it for zero, and replacing the consumed counter with Donatello's trigger, you generate an endless cascade of artifact enters-the-battlefield triggers and infinite card draw.
