How it works

1. Animate Nyx Lotus using Bring to Life.
2. Activate Nyx Lotus by tapping it, adding at least 3
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Nyx Lotus.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns your own mana source into a self-sustaining engine by taking advantage of artifact animation. First, you use Bring to Life from Animating Faerie to turn Nyx Lotus into a creature, allowing it to be targeted by abilities that care about artifact creatures. Once it is animated, tapping Nyx Lotus for a high amount of devotion-fueled mana provides more than enough energy to pay for Voltaic Construct's untap ability. Because Voltaic Construct untaps the Lotus for just two generic mana while leaving you with a net positive surplus every iteration, you can repeat this process to generate infinite mana of any color tied to your devotion.
