How it works

1. Animate Everflowing Chalice using Bring to Life.
2. Activate Everflowing Chalice by tapping it, adding at least CCC
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Everflowing Chalice.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a humble piece of rocks into a limitless engine by turning an otherwise innocent artifact into a creature that can be untappable on demand. First, you cast Bring to Life from Animating Faerie to animate Everflowing Chalice, granting it a body robust enough to be targeted and manipulated as a creature. Once the Chalice has enough charge counters to produce excess mana beyond its activation cost, Voltaic Construct steps in to untap it for a modest fee of two mana. By repeatedly tapping the Chalice for more mana than the Construct demands, you generate infinite colorless mana and infinite untaps for your artifact creatures.
