How it works

1. Cast Bring to Life by paying 2, causing Basalt Monolith to become a 0/0 artifact creature, then putting four +1/+1 counters on it and exiling Bring to Life.
2. Activate Basalt Monolith's first ability by tapping it, adding CCC.
3. activate Basalt Monolith's second ability by paying at most 2, untapping it.
4. Repeat from step 2.

Because it's now a creature, Agatha of the Vile Cauldron steps in to reduce the cost of its activated abilities by 4, transforming the Monolith's untap ability from three mana into a heavily discounted one-mana payment.
