How it works

1. Cast Hangarback Walker by paying 0.
2. Hangarback Walker enters the battlefield and dies as a state-based action due to having zero toughness.
3. Mortuary and Amareth trigger.
4. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Hangarback Walker on top of your library from your graveyard.
5. Resolve the Amareth trigger, causing you to reveal Hangarback Walker from the top of your library and put it into your hand.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Hangarback Walker into a recurring engine by casting it for zero mana so that it immediately perishes upon entering the battlefield. Mortuary catches the creature as it hits the graveyard, neatly tucking it back onto the top of your library. Meanwhile, Amareth, the Lustrous watches for that permanent to enter and capitalized on the shared artifact card type, allowing you to draw the walker right back into your hand.
