How it works

  1. Cast Crop Sigil from your graveyard for its retrace cost by paying G mana and discarding Dryad Arbor.
  2. Cast Lion's Eye Diamond from your graveyard for its retrace cost by discarding another land in your hand.
  3. When Lion's Eye Diamond enters the battlefield, Mirrorworks triggers.
  4. Holding priority, activate Lion's Eye Diamond by sacrificing it and discarding your hand, adding three mana of any color.
  5. Resolve the Mirrorworks trigger, causing you to pay 2 to create a token copy of Lion's Eye Diamond.
  6. Activate the Lion's Eye Diamond token by sacrificing it and discarding your hand, adding G manaG manaG mana.
  7. Activate Crop Sigil by paying 2G mana and sacrificing it, returning Dryad Arbor and another land card from your graveyard to your hand.
  8. Repeat.

This intricate loop turns Six into an engine of endless recursion by granting your graveyard a retrace ability for nonland permanents, allowing you to continually recast discarded threats. You start by using a land discarded to retrace Crop Sigil—which can conveniently be Dryad Arbor when you need a creature to recur—to loop your mana through Lion's Eye Diamond. As each copy of Lion's Eye Diamond hits the battlefield, Mirrorworks triggers to replicate it for a modest fee, providing the explosive mana needed to fund the cycle and fuel an infinite storm count.
