How it works

  1. Play a land. When the land enters, Springheart Nantuko triggers, causing you to pay 1G mana to create a token copy of Dryad Arbor.
  2. When the Dryad Arbor token enters, Springheart Nantuko triggers. Holding priority, activate the Dryad Arbor token by tapping it, adding G mana.
  3. Heartbeat of Spring triggers, adding G mana.
  4. Resolve the Springheart Nantuko trigger, causing you to pay 1G mana to create a token copy of Dryad Arbor.
  5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a simple land drop into an infinite wave of creatures by leveraging the unique properties of Dryad Arbor, which functions simultaneously as a land and a creature. Whenever a land enters the battlefield, Springheart Nantuko uses its landfall ability to copy the Dryad Arbor token, while Heartbeat of Spring doubles your mana production to ensure you can infinitely pay the activation costs. Meanwhile, Tuktuk Rubblefort grants your endless army haste, allowing the newly created tokens to tap for mana the moment they arrive to keep the sequence entirely self-sustaining.
