How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Orzhov Enforcer, adding CC.
2. When Orzhov Enforcer dies, it and Nim Deathmantle trigger,
3. Resolve the Orzhov Enforcer trigger, creating a creature token.
4. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a creature token, adding CC.
5. Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger, causing you to pay 4 to return Orzhov Enforcer from your graveyard to the battlefield and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop is fueled by Ashnod's Altar, which happily converts your sacrifices into the exact four mana needed to satisfy Nim Deathmantle's resurrection cost. When Orzhov Enforcer meets its end upon the Altar, its Afterlife 1 ability immediately births a Spirit token that can be sacrificed in turn to feed the Altar's mana production. The Deathmantle then swoops in to snatch the Enforcer right back from the graveyard, automatically reattaching itself so the cycle can begin anew.
