How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar six times by sacrificing Gerrard and five other creatures, adding 5.
2. Gerrard dies, triggering its ability and Fool's Demise's first and second abilities.
3. Resolve the first Fool's Demise trigger, returning Gerrard from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Resolve the second Fool's Demise trigger, returning Fool's Demise from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the Gerrard trigger, returning all artifact and creature cards put into your graveyard this turn to the battlefield.
6. Cast Fool's Demise by paying 4, attaching it to Gerrard.
7. Repeat.
