How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Gerrard.
2. When Gerrard dies, it and Havi trigger.
3. Resolve the Havi trigger, returning up to one legendary creature card with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Holding priority, activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Havi.
5. When Havi dies, it triggers, returning Gerrard from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Gerrard trigger from step 2, failing to exile it as it is no longer in your graveyard and returning Havi from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Resolve the Phantom Train abilities from step 1 and 4.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the legendary cycle of the Weatherlight crew into an endless engine of resurrection, fueled by the sacrifice outlet on Phantom Train. By sacrificing Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero and Havi, the All-Father back and forth to each other's triggers, you bypass their deaths entirely—Havi's *Sage Project* ability plucks Gerrard right back out of the graveyard when Havi falls, while Gerrard's own death trigger sweeps Havi back onto the battlefield alongside any other fallen artifacts or creatures. As you endlessly recur your board, Phantom Train conveniently grows larger with every iteration by converting those sacrifices into a mountain of +1/+1 counters.
