How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing a nontoken Lhurgoyf.
2. When the Lhurgoyf dies, Mimic Vat triggers, exiling the Lhurgoyf from your graveyard and returning the Lhurgoyf that was exiled to your graveyard.
3. Disa's first ability triggers, putting the Lhurgoyf from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop hinges on a clever interplay of graveyard recursion and artifact activation. When you sacrifice a Lhurgoyf to Umbral Collar Zealot, Mimic Vat steps in to capture the dying creature, simultaneously cycling any previously exiled card back to your graveyard. That return instantly wakes up Disa the Restless, whose static-like triggered ability immediately plucks the Lhurgoyf right back onto the battlefield. By continuously feeding the Zealot and letting the Vat and Disa swap the creature between zones, you generate an endless cascade of enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers while sculpting your draws with infinite surveil.
