How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Squee, adding .
2. When Squee dies, Sifter of Skulls triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing the creature token, adding .
4. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying due to Green Goblin.
5. Repeat.

This loop relies on Squee, the Immortal's unique ability to be cast directly from the graveyard, bypassing the usual restriction of staying put after death. Sifter of Skulls turns each of those deaths into an Eldrazi Scion token, which Thermopod can then sacrifice to generate the red mana needed to keep the cycle going. Meanwhile, Norman Osborn // Green Goblin provides the crucial cost-reduction aura via its back face, lowering the mana required to cast Squee from the graveyard until it matches the red mana produced by the sacrifices.
