How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Famished Foragers.
2. When Famished Foragers dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Famished Foragers from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
3. When Famished Foragers enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, adding six .
4. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1, causing target player to mill cards equal to Famished Foragers' power.
5. Repeat.
6. Once you have infinite mana, you may use Famished Foragers' ability to infinitely rummage.

This clever loop transforms Altar of Dementia into a bottomless millstone by feeding it Famished Foragers over and over again. Each time the Foragers fall to the Altar's sacrifice blade, Nim Deathmantle steps in to resurrect them directly to the battlefield for four mana, while Panharmonicon doubles the incoming energy from their entry trigger. Because that doubled trigger yields six red mana—more than enough to pay the Deathmantle's resurrection fee—you generate infinite red mana alongside an endless cycle of deaths and entries.
