How it works

1. Cast Wheel of Misfortune by paying 2, choosing an arbitrarily large number and having Wheel of Misfortune deal that much damage to Truefire Captain instead of you due to Pariah if you chose the largest number.
2. Truefire Captain triggers, dealing that much damage to an applicable target.

By enchanting Truefire Captain with Pariah, you cleverly redirect any incoming harm intended for you directly onto the Captain instead. When you cast Wheel of Misfortune, you can safely select an arbitrarily large number, knowing that Pariah will intercept the resulting punishment and channel it straight into Truefire Captain's damage-redirection trigger. This triggers the Captain's ability to instantly blast an opponent for that exact same massive amount of damage, closing out the game in a single fiery burst.
