How it works

2. Ill-Tempered Loner // Howlpack Avenger triggers, dealing that much damage to an applicable target.

By combining Wheel of Misfortune with Pariah's Shield, you can safely choose an arbitrarily large number—ensuring you take the highest damage without actually harming yourself—because the Shield redirects all of that incoming pain straight onto the equipped creature.
