How it works

1. Cast Wheel of Misfortune by paying 2, choosing an arbitrarily large number and having Wheel of Misfortune deal that much damage to Boros Reckoner instead of you due to Pariah's Shield if you chose the largest number.
2. Boros Reckoner triggers, dealing that much damage to an applicable target.

This explosive loop turns Wheel of Misfortune into a lethal weapon by weaponizing its usually punishing self-damage. With Pariah's Shield equipped to Boros Reckoner, any massive life loss or damage you would take from Wheel of Misfortune is instead redirected entirely onto the Reckoner. Whenever Boros Reckoner is dealt that enormous amount of damage, its triggered ability responds by instantly channeling every single point directly at an opponent.
