How it works

1. Cast Wheel of Misfortune by paying 2, choosing an arbitrarily large number and having Wheel of Misfortune deal that much damage to Spitemare instead of you due to Pariah's Shield if you chose the largest number.
2. Spitemare triggers, dealing that much damage to an applicable target.

This brilliant loop turns Wheel of Misfortune's erratic self-harm into a lethal weapon by turning the table against your opponents. While Wheel of Misfortune normally threatens to punish you with massive damage if you pick the highest number, Pariah's Shield redirects that heavy blow directly to your own Spitemare. The moment Spitemare absorbs that punishment, its triggered ability snaps back to life, instantly channeling the exact same colossal amount of damage straight at an opponent's face.
