How it works

1. Cast Wheel of Misfortune by paying 2, choosing an arbitrarily large number and having Wheel of Misfortune deal that much damage to Boros Reckoner instead of you due to With Great Power... if you chose the largest number.
2. Boros Reckoner triggers, dealing that much damage to an applicable target.

This clever loop relies on turning Wheel of Misfortune's high-stakes life pressure into a lethal weapon by intentionally picking an astronomical number. Normally, you'd risk your own life total, but With Great Power . . . safely redirects all that incoming damage straight to your own Boros Reckoner instead. The moment Boros Reckoner takes that massive hit, its triggered ability immediately fires off the exact same colossal amount of damage to finish off an opponent.
