How it works

1. Cast Wheel of Misfortune by paying 2, choosing an arbitrarily large number and having Wheel of Misfortune deal that much damage to Mogg Maniac instead of you due to With Great Power... if you chose the largest number.
2. Mogg Maniac triggers, dealing that much damage to an applicable target.

This delightfully chaotic loop hinges on redirecting the massive self-inflicted pain of Wheel of Misfortune directly into Mogg Maniac, whose trigger turns that self-damage right back around onto an opponent. While With Great Power . . . ensures that all damage intended for you is safely absorbed by the Maniac, you simply need to make sure you choose the highest number for Wheel of Misfortune so it deals that colossal sum to your own creature. The result is a wonderfully dramatic fireball that bypasses the combat step entirely, converting a game of secret numbers into an instant victory.
