How it works

1. Activate Atla by paying 2 and tapping it, creating an 0/1 Egg creature token with defender.
2. Activate Ghired by tapping a nontoken creature you control, creating a copy of the Egg token.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Egg token.
4. When the Egg dies, Atla triggers, causing you to reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature card and put it onto the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns your entire deck of creatures into the battlefield by treating Egg tokens as a renewable resource. With Atla Palani, Nest Tender and Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds working in tandem, you can continually spawn and copy Eggs—a process smoothed along by Tannuk, Steadfast Second and its ability to grant haste across your board. Whenever you sacrifice an Egg to Ashnod's Altar, Atla Palani's trigger forces you to reveal and cheat out a creature from your library, while the Altar simultaneously refunds the mana needed to keep the engine spinning.
