How it works
- Activate Atla by paying 2 and tapping it, creating an 0/1 Egg creature token with defender.
- Activate Ghired by tapping a nontoken creature you control, creating a copy of the Egg token.
- Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing an Egg token.
- When the Egg dies, Atla triggers, causing you to reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature card and put it onto the battlefield.
- Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
- Repeat from step 2.
Atla Palani, Nest Tender sets the engine in motion by churning out 0/1 Egg tokens, which are then copied using the activated ability granted by Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds to your nontoken creatures. Once you have your eggs, you feed them to Altar of Dementia to mill your library while triggering Atla Palani's ability to cheat every single creature from your deck straight onto the battlefield. Meanwhile, Fires of Yavimaya provides a helpful passive haste bonus to ensure your creatures are ready to participate right away.
