How it works
Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing another creature.
When the creature dies as an Egg due to Maskwood Nexus, Atla triggers, revealing a creature card from your library and putting it onto the battlefield.
Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
Repeat as desired / able.
With Maskwood Nexus weaving its magic, every creature you control—including the humble tokens produced by Atla Palani, Nest Tender—gains the Egg type, transforming Atla's nesting ground into a terrifying engine of discovery. When you sacrifice one of these creatures to Shilgengar, Sire of Famine, Atla Palani's trigger immediately breaks open your deck to cheat another creature straight onto the battlefield. Meanwhile, Shilgengar dutifully stockpiles a bounty of Blood tokens from the sacrifice, which can later be cracked to flood the board with your entire graveyard of creatures if needed.
