How it works

4. Repeat.

This brilliant mana-positive loop relies on Isochron Scepter holding an exiled copy of Cabal Ritual to repeatedly generate a surplus of black mana. By casting Cabal Ritual directly off the Scepter, you satisfy Onyx Talisman's color requirement whenever a player casts a black spell, allowing you to pay {3} from your freshly minted mana pool to untap the Isochron Scepter. Once your graveyard reaches threshold, each iteration yields more mana than it costs to untap and activate the artifact, turning your initial investment into an infinite stream of black mana and storm count.
