How it works

1. Cast Thrasta by paying 10 and commander tax, if applicable.
2. Activate Food Chain by exiling Thrasta, adding thirteen that can only be spent to cast creature spells.
3. Choose to have Thrasta returned to the command zone from exile.
4. Cast Thrasta from the command zone by paying 1 less than the previous casting cost due to Thrasta's first ability and additional commander tax.
5. Repeat from step 2.
