How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Restless Apparition.
2. When Restless Apparition dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
3. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability
4. Repeat.

This engine turns a relentless spirit into a self-feeding sacrifice loop by exploiting a clever rules interaction with persist. When you sacrifice Restless Apparition to Viscera Seer, persist normally would return it with a -1/-1 counter that prevents the loop from repeating. However, Melira, Sylvok Outcast's static ability completely prevents -1/-1 counters from being placed on your creatures, allowing the Apparition to return completely clean every single time. By continuously cycling the creature back and forth, you generate an endless stream of sacrifice and death triggers while using Viscera Seer to manipulate your library until you find your winning card.
