How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Restless Apparition.
2. When Restless Apparition dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
3. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability
4. Repeat.

This clever engine centers around Restless Apparition and its persist ability, which normally would cause it to return with a crippling -1/-1 counter each time it dies. Melira, Sylvok Outcast elegantly turns off that drawback by preventing -1/-1 counters from being placed on your creatures entirely, allowing Restless Apparition to return fresh over and over. By feeding the creature to Bloodflow Connoisseur's sacrifice ability, you can repeat this loop indefinitely to pile up infinite +1/+1 counters on the Connoisseur while triggering boundless entry, death, and sacrifice events.
