How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Restless Apparition.
2. When Restless Apparition dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
3. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability
4. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around the persistence of Restless Apparition, which triggers to return itself from the graveyard whenever it dies. Normally, persist would saddle the creature with a -1/-1 counter and shut down future loops, but Melira, Sylvok Outcast steps in with her static ability to completely prevent -1/-1 counters from being placed on your creatures. With that restriction lifted, you can endlessly feed Restless Apparition to Bartolomé del Presidio to pile up infinite +1/+1 counters on the vampire while generating an unending stream of sacrifice, death, and entry triggers.
