How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Seraph of the Scales, adding CC.
2. When Seraph of the Scales dies, its afterlife ability triggers, creating two 1/1 Spirit creature tokens.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the Spirits, adding CCCC.
4. Activate Crossroads Candleguide by paying 2, adding .
5. Activate Kenrith's fifth ability by paying 4, returning Seraph of the Scales to the battlefield from your graveyard.
6. Repeat.

This looping engine relies on Ashnod's Altar to convert Seraph of the Scales and its Afterlife 2 tokens into the exact mana needed to sustain the cycle. When the Seraph dies, it leaves behind two Spirit tokens that, along with the Seraph itself, are fed to the Altar to generate plenty of colorless mana. Crossroads Candleguide helps filter that energy by tapping for the colored mana required to bridge the gap. Finally, Kenrith, the Returned King uses that accumulated mana to pull Seraph of the Scales right back out of the graveyard, resetting the board and letting you repeat the sacrifice loop indefinitely for endless triggers.
