How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Squee and Skyfire Phoenix, adding .
2. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying .
3. Skyfire Phoenix triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Repeat.

This engine runs on the endless recursion of Squee, the Immortal, who conveniently bypasses typical death limitations by allowing you to cast him straight from your graveyard or exile. By sacrificing both Squee, the Immortal and Skyfire Phoenix to Phyrexian Altar, you generate the exact red mana needed to recast Squee from the graveyard. That cast automatically triggers Skyfire Phoenix, which leaps right back onto the battlefield from the graveyard to be sacrificed all over again alongside Squee. Meanwhile, The Immortal Sun sits quietly on the board, lowering the casting cost of spells by {1} to make this loop cost-neutral while pumping your creatures and padding your hand with extra cards.
