How it works
- Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Squee and Skyfire Phoenix, adding .
- Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying .
- Skyfire Phoenix triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns your graveyard and exile zones into an infinite engine, powered entirely by the cost-reduction and mana generation of your artifacts and creatures. Thermopod provides the necessary sacrifice outlet, turning both Squee, the Immortal and Skyfire Phoenix into fresh red mana when fed to the flame. Because Squee, the Immortal can be repeatedly cast right back out of exile or the graveyard, and casting any commander automatically triggers Skyfire Phoenix to return alongside it, you have a closed loop that continuously generates infinite sacrifices, death triggers, and storm count. The Immortal Sun quietly sits on the battlefield, making the whole loop cost-neutral by reducing Squee's casting cost while quietly boosting your creatures along the way.
