How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Squee and Skyfire Phoenix, adding .
2. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying .
3. Skyfire Phoenix triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Repeat.

This recursive loop relies on the seamless synergy between cheap recursion and continuous sacrifice outlets. By utilizing Phyrexian Altar, you sacrifice both Squee, the Immortal and Skyfire Phoenix to continuously generate mana while feeding your death and sacrifice triggers. Squee, the Immortal provides the fuel by being cast directly from the graveyard, which naturally triggers Skyfire Phoenix's ability to return itself from the graveyard whenever you cast your commander. While Jhoira's Familiar isn't explicitly burning mana in the active loop steps, its passive cost reduction helps smooth out the mana requirements for casting historic spells like your commander to kickstart the whole chain.
