How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Squee and Skyfire Phoenix, adding .
2. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying .
3. Skyfire Phoenix triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Squee, the Immortal into an infinite, self-recurring engine for your graveyard and exile zones, bypassing normal resource restrictions entirely. With Ruby Medallion on the board reducing your red mana requirements, casting Squee becomes cheap enough to fund repeatedly. You then feed both Squee and Skyfire Phoenix to Thermopod's sacrifice ability to generate the necessary red mana. Best of all, whenever you cast Squee—your commander—Skyfire Phoenix's trigger brings the Phoenix right back alongside him, setting up an endless loop of sacrifices and triggers.
