How it works
- Draw a card.
- Lyla triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control.
- Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Servo, adding one mana of any color.
- When the Servo dies, Smothering Abomination triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- Repeat from step 2.
This looping engine feeds itself into a self-sustaining cycle of growth and sacrifice. Once you draw a card to jump-start the chain, Lyla, Holographic Assistant places a +1/+1 counter on a creature, which in turn triggers Animation Module to let you pay {1} for a fresh 1/1 Servo artifact creature token. You can immediately feed that Servo into Phyrexian Altar to generate the mana needed to pay for the Module's trigger, while the sacrifice simultaneously satisfies Smothering Abomination's upkeep requirement and triggers its ability to draw you another card. Because that new card draw feeds right back into Lyla, Holographic Assistant, the whole machine spins endlessly to fuel your victory.
