How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Karmic Guide.
2. When Karmic Guide dies, Prowling Geistcatcher's first ability triggers, exiling Karmic Guide from your graveyard.
3. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Prowling Geistcatcher.
4. When Prowling Geistcatcher dies, its second ability triggers, returning Karmic Guide from exile to the battlefield.
5. When Karmic Guide enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Prowling Geistcatcher from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Carrion Feeder abilities from step 1 and step 3, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on a clever dance between the graveyard and the battlefield, anchored by Prowling Geistcatcher to safely hold your key pieces in exile until they need to return. By sacrificing Karmic Guide to Carrion Feeder, you trigger the Geistcatcher's exile ability rather than letting the angel stay in the graveyard. Next, sacrificing the Geistcatcher itself breaks its hold, allowing its leaves-the-battlefield trigger to bring back Karmic Guide, which in turn immediately resurrects Prowling Geistcatcher from the graveyard upon its own entry. This creates a perpetual cycle of sacrifice and revival that continuously grows the Carrion Feeder while generating an endless stream of enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers.
