How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Tenacious Dead.
2. When Tenacious Dead dies, it, The Skullspore Nexus, and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
3. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
4. Resolve the The Skullspore Nexus trigger, creating a creature token.
5. In response to the remaining trigger, activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing the creature token.
6. When the creature token dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
7. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability from step 5.
8. Activate two Treasure tokens by tapping and sacrificing them, adding .
9. Resolve the Tenacious Dead trigger, paying 1 to return it to the battlefield from your graveyard.
10. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability from step 1.
11. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a modest skeleton into an engine of endless growth by leaning on the interplay of constant sacrifice and return. You feed Tenacious Dead to Carrion Feeder, pumping the Feeder with a +1/+1 counter while triggering a cascade of secondary effects: Pitiless Plunderer spawns a Treasure token to fund the skeleton's resurrection, and The Skullspore Nexus witnesses the death to churn out a hefty Fungus Dinosaur token. That bonus token can be sacrificed right back into Carrion Feeder to generate even more mana and triggers, leaving you with an arbitrarily large creature and an endless surplus of resources.
