How it works

1. Put a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
2. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
3. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing the Beast.
4. When the Beast dies, Tarrian's Soulcleaver triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
5. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
6. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This loop turns the natural synergy between Herd Baloth and Tarrian's Soulcleaver into a self-sustaining engine for infinite growth and sacrifices. While the Soulcleaver normally just rewards you with a +1/+1 counter whenever an artifact or creature dies, here it acts as the vital bridge that converts the death of a Beast token right back into a new counter for Herd Baloth. That fresh counter instantly triggers the Baloth to birth another 4/4 token, which you can immediately feed to Carrion Feeder to keep the cycle spinning while growing your board infinitely.
