How it works
Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Cultivator of Blades.
When Cultivator of Blades dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
When Cultivator of Blades enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
Repeat.
This clever loop centers around the clever interaction between Isilu, Carrier of Twilight—the night-facing side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn—and Cultivator of Blades, granting the Cultivator persist so that it can return from the graveyard whenever it dies. As Cultivator of Blades re-enters the battlefield, its fabricate ability triggers to place a +1/+1 counter on it, which instantly neutralizes the -1/+1 counter it received from persist via state-based actions. This leaves the door wide open for Carrion Feeder to sacrifice the Cultivator all over again, fueling an endless cycle of sacrifices, enter-the-battlefield events, and growing +1/+1 counters.
