How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Cultivator of Blades.
2. When Cultivator of Blades dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Cultivator of Blades enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around the clever interaction between Isilu, Carrier of Twilight—the night-facing side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn—and Cultivator of Blades, granting the Cultivator persist so that it can return from the graveyard whenever it dies. As Cultivator of Blades re-enters the battlefield, its fabricate ability triggers to place a +1/+1 counter on it, which instantly neutralizes the -1/+1 counter it received from persist via state-based actions. This leaves the door wide open for Carrion Feeder to sacrifice the Cultivator all over again, fueling an endless cycle of sacrifices, enter-the-battlefield events, and growing +1/+1 counters.
