How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing it.
2. When Carrion Feeder dies, Mortuary and Panicked Bystander // Cackling Culprit trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Carrion Feeder from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Panicked Bystander // Cackling Culprit trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
6. Cast Carrion Feeder from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This loop relies on Mortuary to intercept your sacrifices and neatly stack your graveyard casualties right back onto the top of your library. From there, Gwenom, Remorseless lets you bypass traditional mana costs by paying life instead, turning the top of your library into a hand you can cast from on demand. You can endlessly feed Carrion Feeder to itself—re-casting it off the top for a single life each time—while Panicked Bystander // Cackling Culprit banks that life right back with compounding life-gain triggers to keep the engine fueled.
