How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing it.
2. When Carrion Feeder dies, Mortuary and Fleshtaker trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Carrion Feeder from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Fleshtaker trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and scry 1.
5. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
6. Cast Carrion Feeder from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Mortuary to intercept your creatures as they hit the graveyard, redirecting them straight back to the top of your library. From there, Gwenom, Remorseless lets you bypass traditional mana costs by paying life instead, seamlessly turning the top of your library into an active hand after it attacks. Meanwhile, Fleshtaker and Carrion Feeder work in tandem as the engine's catalysts: Carrion Feeder acts as the sacrificial outlet that triggers the whole chain, while Fleshtaker rewards your sacrifices with life and vital scry triggers to smooth out the process.
